A Journey Through Our Family Legacy

Founded nearly 40 years ago, Palmetto Fresh Meats began as a humble farm. The Doyle family has transformed it into a thriving custom meat processing business, rooted in tradition and family values.

Year 1985

In 1985, John Doyle transitioned the family farm from tobacco to raise beef cattle, marking the beginning of a new chapter.

Year 1990

By 1990, the farm expanded operations, introducing Brangus and Ultrablack breeds, enhancing the quality and variety of meat available.

Year 2021

In 2021, Palmetto Fresh Meats LLC was officially established, bringing custom processing to the community and cementing our commitment to local customers.

Year 2025

In 2025, we launched our e-commerce platform, making it easier for customers to order fresh meats directly from our farm to their table.

Who we are and what we are about!

For nearly 40 years, John Doyle, has been raising premium beef cattle on his family farm in Aynor, South Carolina. What started as a tobacco farm eventually grew into a passion for raising Brangus and Ultrablack cattle – known for their superior flavor and tenderness. Together with his wife, Jeanne, who traded her kindergarten classroom for the farm’s ledger and help in the fields, they’ve built a life around hard work, family, and a commitment to quality.

As they raised their four children – Annie Reid, Abigail, Reese, and Madelyn – the farm became more than a livelihood, it became a legacy. Whether moving cattle on horseback or lending a hand in farm chores, everyone pitches in to keep the operations running smoothly.
